Diamonds Aren’t a Girl’s Best Friend

A Murder Mystery Dinner

Written and Directed by Gary Banker

February 13, 6:30pm, Fairlawn Mansion

$40 per person by Advance Reservation Only, 715-394-5712

Guests are invited to bring their own beer or bottle of wine ~ white or rose’ only ~

(those red stains are so difficult to get out of the carpeting)

Our dear Eleanor Clemmens, famous movie actress and wife of a local artist, will be wearing the famous Murphee diamonds, valued at more than $5 million dollars, when she comes to Superior for Valentine’s Day at the Pattison Mansion.  Security is always tight when she wears them. This time, though, seems different. There are those threats: “Wear them and it will be your last time!”

Our party also includes Ruby Jones. Ruby enjoys her job at a family owned jewelry business in Superior. The Murphee diamonds will be in her guard. Will she be hypnotized by their beauty and do the unthinkable just to gain them?

Don’t underestimate Onyx Bartholemew. This slick playboy has deadly charm that he uses to get whatever he wants. Most people thinks he lives on old money. He prefers to say he “profits” from old money.  Does he have the charm to lure the gems away from Clemmens?

And then there is Garnet Hill, based out of the cities. He is known for his quality diamonds. He is also known to acquire them in some very unusual circumstances. Would he be bold enough to commit murder in order to gain the diamonds?

Will Eleanor Clemmens continue to ignore the threats? Will she wear the Murphee diamonds for Valentine’s? Will someone else end up with the diamonds and Eleanor end up dead?
